Loxley Canvas Board

This high quality range of painting boards are made from Loxley Canvas which is laminated onto strong, stable pulp board. The canvas boards are double acrylic primed and are suitable for all oil and acrylic colours.

Canvas board differs from stretched canvases (which are the main canvas we sell).
Rather than being stretched over a wooden frame, the canvas is glued to a flat piece of board. This means that they are rigid and good for painting in the field. It also means that they are low priced and good for beginners and students. However they are almost flat and do not have the traditional appearance of stretched canvas.
