Winsor and Newton 100% Linen Deep Edge Canvas

Linen cnvases on thicker stretcher bars for more imapact.

Linen is traditionally the preferred surface for professional artists, the 100% Linen range is therefore ideal for all techniques including heavier application of colour.

The primed weight of the canvas is 13oz/375gsm having been triple coated using acid free sizing plus two coats of highly pigmented primer. This allows excellent adhesion of colour and a balanced absorbency preventing any sinkage of oil colour.

The linen canvas is stapled on the reverse to allow painting on all sides and has professional stretcher bars giving greater strength and stability.
