Winsor & Newton Fine Detail Canvases

All of the Canvases in the Range are 50% Off the RRP
Ideal for artists who require a smooth surface. This finely woven canvas is aimed at artists who work on fine detail paintings.
Carefully prepared using one coat of sizing and two coats of primer, the canvas offers excellent tooth and well balanced absorbency to prevent sinking of oil colour and improved adhesion. This 100% cotton canvas has a primed weight of 10oz / 280gsm.
Whilst the canvas already has a fine surface it is possible to make the canvas even smoother by lightly sanding it with a fine grade sandpaper and applying a coat of primer.
All the canvases in this range are 18mm deep. Deep edge fine detail canvases are not currently available.
